What you need to know to play
The Game
I will be running Pathfinder.
The Setting
The country of Varisia in the Golarion Campaign Setting. The adventurers will be housed in Magnimar and Sandpoint, depending on their preference. The action will start in Sandpoint and move to Magnimar, allowing players to become familiar with the people/locations/politics of these places. After that, the adventurers will strike further and further into Varisia's wild frontier dotted with many ruins of the ancient Thassilonian Empire.
Character Creation
Pathfinder's "standard" method for generating characters. Roll 4d6 and drop the lowest for each of the six stats then arrange as desired. If your total bonuses add up to less than 4, you get to roll a new array of six stats. Hit points are max at level 1 and rolled at each level after that.
